RESUME
Benjamin Raab & Deric Hughes are a screenwriting team who are continually finding new ways to explore the genre and comic book story worlds that have long inspired them. They are creators as well as invaluable writer/producers for ongoing television series with over a decade of professional experience. In television, Raab & Hughes are currently Co-Executive Producers on Legacies for The CW. They have written on numerous writing staffs for Warner Brothers and Greg Berlanti including Arrow and The Flash. Raab & Hughes are adapting the martial arts, fantasy comic Infinite Kung Fu for IDW Entertainment and Reggie Hudlin. Additionally, they’re developing a one-hour drama entitled Lawman, inspired by the true story of the first black deputy US Marshall Bass Reeves, with Anonymous Content and Steve DeKnight. Originally from New York, Benjamin Raab began by writing comic books for Marvel, DC, and others. Deric Hughes is a Marine Corps veteran and former collegiate athlete who is bi-racial, black and Japanese. The two met years ago at a comic book store arguing over superheroes and have been creative partners and friends since. They began their careers writing on the staff of SyFy’s Warehouse 13.
